ALL systems are go for Forward! – The Salvation Army's Europe Congress – which takes place in Prague, Czech Republic, from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 October. Around 1,300 Salvationists and friends from across Europe are preparing to gather for a weekend of worship and fellowship under the leadership of General Linda Bond.

The Salvation Army’s new Northlands Lifehouse in Cardiff has been officially opened heralding a new start for homeless and vulnerably housed young people. More than a hostel, a Lifehouse gives people their lives back by offering activities and training to help improve the self-esteem, mental health and employment prospects of the young people.

Salvation Army volunteers viewed the new Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service welfare pod before its deployment as at emergency incidents. The new vehicle was unveiled on Saturday 29 September, at 2pm, at The Salvation Army, Moorland Road, Bridgwater.
