A Salvation Army mobile emergency response unit has been out for a second day supporting Cheshire Police and Lowland Search and Rescue, who are searching for a missing 81-year old man.

The man is reported as fit, a regular walker, but missing now for five days. With three nights of sub-zero temperatures, The Salvation Army’s central north regional team have made contingency plans to be available over the weekend.
