Just over half of parents with children 16 and under in Yorkshire and the Humber are worried about being able to afford the basics for their children this summer, according to a new YouGov survey commissioned by The Salvation Army. Fifty-one per cent of parents admitted they worry about finding the money for their children’s basic needs, such as meals, summer clothes, pocket money, and school uniform.
