More than two fifths of parents of children aged 16 and under in the East Midlands worry about affording the basics for their children this summer- according to a YouGov poll commissioned by The Salvation Army. Forty-one per cent of parents were worried about affording basics, such as pocket money, summer clothes, food and new school uniforms.

Fifty-one per cent of parents admitted they worry about finding the money for their children’s basic needs, such as meals, summer clothes, pocket money, and school uniform.
